A fairytale renaissance castle in the Loire Valley, Unesco world heritage site.
Although magical creatures have today taken over the gardens and made a home out of them, this fairytale castle and its Renaissance stables also bears witness to great historical figures such as Joan of Arc and Rabelais.
Visit Château du Rivau and discover not only a genuine
medieval castle at the heart of a
UNESCO world heritage site, but also botanical arts in a 6ha Garden, contemporary sculptures and a peaceful
restaurant (open from April to September 30th) serving local specialities and produce from our own gardens.
Rivau Castle and Gardens are open from March 26th to November 2nd in 2016.
