In the dining hall of the Feast of Belshazzar, on the fire mantelpiece is represented the biblical episode of the Feast of Belshazzar. The son of King Nebuchadnezzar had profaned the sacred vases of the temple of Jerusalem.

On the ceiling in the same room, is a representation of the four ages of the vine, painted a fresco by a master Italian painter during the Renaissance.

Permanent exhibition : the Château du Rivau conjures up its own personal history through an exhibition on the different steps of the restoration that was undertook by the owners since 1993. You will understand the issues at stake as well as the approach that was chosen to save such a unique architectural ensemble. You will also discover the traditional know-how of the craftsmen and companions who took part in this task.
